Bio-Technology and Bio-Chemical Engineering focuses on the development and application of biological processes and chemical engineering principles to create products and solutions for healthcare, agriculture, environment, and industry. It integrates knowledge from molecular biology, bioprocess engineering, genetics, and biochemistry to address challenges in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food technology, biofuels, environmental remediation, and industrial biotechnology.

The four-year undergraduate program in Bio-Technology and Bio-Chemical Engineering equips students with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of life sciences and engineering. The curriculum includes key areas such as microbiology, biochemical reaction engineering, genetic engineering, downstream processing, bioprocess instrumentation, and bioinformatics.
