SC/ST cell has been constituted in the Sun College of Engineering and Technology, college campus to resolve all the affairs and problems related to the SC/ST students and faculties. The main objective of the cell is to bring the students belonging to the SC/ST community at par with the mainstream student body, create a platform where students can point out their problems regarding academic and non-academic matters and monitor the implementation of the reservation policy in the institution.

The SC/ST Standing Committee ensures the effective implementation of the policies and programmes of the Government of India, UGC and State Governments with regard to SC/ST students. Sun College of Engineering and Technology, hereby constitutes a standing committee to be known as SC/ST Committee comprising of the following.
